Our curriculum consists of two parts:
Theory – to be completed in 207 hours that includes:
- Health and safety
- Bacteriology
- Anatomy, Physiology and Nutrition
- Structure and functions of the skin
- Superfluous hair
- Chemistry
- Chemistry as applied to cosmetics
- Electricity and machines
- Business practices
- Job skills
- Introduction to paramedical esthetics
Practice – to be completed in 393 hours that includes:
- Facial treatments
- Make-up techniques
- Waxing
- State board preparation
Our school offers flexible schedules throughout the year to accommodate every student. Our modern classrooms are designed to facilitate an interesting and exciting learning process.
Upon completion of the course, our students will learn everything necessary in order to become a licensed esthetician, and be prepared to operate facial equipment including steamers, motorized facial chairs, brush, vacuum, galvanic, spray, and high-frequency needed to work successfully in the beauty industry, including opening their own businesses in New York State.
